Raiders begin post-Jon Gruden era with 34-24 win at Denver
DENVER (AP) — The Las Vegas Raiders began the post-Jon Gruden era with a 34-24 thrashing of the Denver Broncos. Derek Carr and Maxx Crosby led the way as the Raiders handed interim head coach Rich Bisaccia a win in his debut. Carr threw for 341 yards and two touchdowns with offensive coordinator Greg Olson calling the plays for the first time since Carr's rookie season in 2014. The win pushed the Raiders into a first-place tie with the Chargers atop the AFC West at 4-2. The Broncos lost their third straight after a 3-0 start and travel to Cleveland on Thursday.
