Maywood-Hayes Center Punches Ticket To State Tournament

(Maywood, NE) - It was a dominating start from the time the game tipped off as Maywood-Hayes Center hosted Potter-Dix in the Class D2 District Final on Saturday night as Maywood-Hayes Center defeated Potter-Dix by a final score of 60-21 to advance to the Boys State Basketball Tournament for the second consecutive year.  Maywood-Hayes Center would get out to a 27-0 lead before Potter-Dix would get their first basket.  Maywood-Hayes Center will take a 22-3 record to this year's State Tournament which starts on Wednesday, March 6th.  MHC will now await the official word from the NSAA on who they will face in the Class D2 boys's state high school basketball tournament.
